Equipment category
Two distinct technologies sit in this category. An intraoral camera is a chairside visualisation tool: the universal camera listed here uses a quarter-inch Sony CCD sensor with six LEDs, single or quad image display and a focus range of 5 to 40 mm, and can be integrated with a dental unit. Three-dimensional intraoral scanning is a separate capability used for digital impressions, and MeDeSe publishes scanner specifications only once the manufacturer has supplied them. Contact MeDeSe to discuss what each does in practice.
